Music and Community Choirs

Music has been part of Hope Beyond Borders from the beginning.

Original songs by singer-songwriter Jerry Leggett helped give birth to the initiative, and professional choral arrangements and rehearsal resources now allow local choirs and communities to carry the music themselves.

The Together We Community Choir model turns singing itself into a practice of belonging.

Different voices do not have to become the same voice in order to create harmony.

They have to listen.

That may be one of the simplest metaphors for the entire initiative.
